Length: 5K (3.1 Mile) Run and Walk
Location: Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County 935 Farm Road
(Farm Rd at Mullins Station near Shelby Farms)
Race results/timing: Accurate timing and race results will be provided by the Memphis Runners Track Club.
The Fast and the Furriest 5K Run and Walk
presented by Hollywood Feed is a 3.1 mile run/walk event benefiting the
Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County.
Come enjoy one of the only dog-friendly races in Memphis!
This event features a scenic flat course in the area around the Humane Society friendly for running, walking, and strollers. Feel free to bring your dog, but please be kind and clean up after your furry friend if necessary. We do ask runners with dogs to start in the rear of the pack so as not to distract our competitive runners.
Join us for a fun post-race celebration that the entire family can enjoy featuring live music from The Memphis Snake Doctors. You can also meet and play with some of our adoptable pets!
Food, beverages, door-prizes, and other goodies are available to all participants. HSMSC will also be offering $25 microchipping of any dog or cat, with the assistance of Greg Shaw, DVM.
